Eureka supports Factory47 BMX
The Factory47/Tapout Energy BMX Race Team are a brand new Australian race team launching for the 2014/2015 season. The team is 10 riders strong, with five Junior riders and five Pro riders.
Nutcase Helmets Australasia, a division of Eureka Brands, is pumped to sponsor a BMX team who will be able to train using Nutcase Helmets while protecting their brains in style.
Over the next 12 months, the team will be busy on club nights, open days, Southern Zone rounds, and then the State and Australian Championships. Hopefully it means the World Championships after that!
Best of all, the team is about having fun and doing it with a sense of style - which is just what Nutcase is about too! The junior team consists of Noah, Jayden, Ryder, Taj and Chevelle who age between 8 and 15. The group is all about representing the team in a competitive but fun environment, upholding a positive attitude and enjoying the team relationships.
Meanwhile, the senior team is all about experience and results and they serve as mentors to the junior team. How great is that?!
Rising stars and experienced professionals
Among the Seniors are a range of exciting BMX rising stars. Tyler Lea Thorley is a junior Australian champion who took a break from the sport but is now back. She is currently on a program to reach the Olympics in 2020 as she joins the competitive class of junior elite next year.
Jos Custers is a previous junior champion, has been in the sport for over 20 years. He was last years Australian Champion and is the dominate rider in the masters classes and Ian Maclachlan is currently ranked 2nd in the state, and he and Jos are the 2 fastest in their classes.
We wish the team the best of luck in their 2014/2015 season!
