Eureka supports the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre
The Asylum Seeker Resource Centre's KidsZone program helps families seeking asylum in Australia by organising social outings for their children and helping them access sport and social programs. Often the families are not allowed to work while their application is being processed and they are amongst the most disadvantaged people in our country, so we felt the KidZone program was worth supporting in order to keep some fun in the lives of kids going through this process.
Kids between ages 2 and 15 years old who are taking part in the program would receive a bicycle from Good Cycles and a helmet from Nutcase Helmets's Australian distributor Eureka Brands.
The ASRC is Australia's largest asylum seeker resource service providing legal advice and advocacy, some 40,000 daily meals, assisting families with groceries and providing job placements. We wish them all the best with the KidZone program this year. If you're interesting in finding out more about what the ASRC does, visit http://www.asrc.org.au/
