New Australian brand Twowheelcool distributed by Eureka
Country by country, distributors will be appointed for Twowheelcool products in such areas as North America, Europe, UK and Asia.
The Airhead, its first product, is a patented silicone helmet liner which prevents ‘helmet hair’. Suitable for motorcycle, bicycle, skate, snow and other compressive helmets, the Airhead works by creating airflow inside the helmet, thus reducing moisture from perspiration and the usual flattening of hair.
The Airhead is easy to install and requires no adhesives or attachments, combines a silicone outer which is non-allergenic, anti-static and anti-bacterial. It can be removed for washing and is dishwasher safe and comes in ten graphic styles so far.
Designed in Sydney by Bruce Hanlee, principal of Twowheelcool, the Airhead has been road tested and already has a following in its short time since release in March 2012.
"We are very excited that Eureka Brands will be distributing our range - not only the Airhead, but also other products we have in the pipeline. It allows me to focus on the part of the business that I find most rewarding - designing and developing innovative products," said Bruce Hanlee.
The appointment of Eureka Brands allows Twowheelcool to grow locally and export globally and gain efficiencies. Working with an experienced, specialist Australian distributor will enable planning for upcoming Twowheelcool product releases for the moto, bicycle and related sports markets.
Eureka Brands is well known for establishing the market for Nutcase Helmets in Australia since 2008 and raising the American brand’s profile across the Asia Pacific.
“We’ve been looking to expand our activities and we believe Twowheelcool has a lot to offer the world in terms of Australian design and innovation,” says Alexei Mazin, CEO.
The first official preview of Airhead internationally will be at the world’s largest international bike show Eurobike 2012 (Aug 29 - Sept 1, 2012) in Friedrichshafen, Germany.
A re-launched website will also be available during September 2013 followed by the first range of bicycle specific rider accessories.
*** Update to this release: April 2015, Twowheelcool ceases agreement with Eureka and in order to proceed with distribution directly. ***
